Six municipalities from the Kuopio Region are participating in the Business Arena Helsinki event 24th May 2022. In the event, the municipalities will present real estate investment opportunities from the fields of city development, tourism, circular economy and data centers.
The Kuopio Region is located in the Eastern part of Finland. It combines a great business environment, a wide range of research and education expertise, cultural services and the opportunity to live among nature. It is a growing region of 248 500 inhabitants and 15 500 companies.
Kuopio is the biggest city in the region and surrounded by several smaller cities and municipalities such as Iisalmi, Varkaus, Siilinjärvi, Leppävirta and Joroinen. Main business ecosystems in the area are health, water technology, circular and bioeconomy, energy, smart technologies, agrifood and tourism.
