Kuopio Goes Slush is an event that brings together startups, investors, customers and other stakeholders on 20th November in Helsinki. This year, the event will be organized at Maria 01 campus area in Helsinki. The programme of the evening includes key notes from companies and investors, networking and a demo area for startups.

The event is moderated by entrepreneur and investor Juha Yrjänheikki.

- 18:10 Welcoming words and introduction of the Shortcut, Juha Yrjänheikki
- 18:20 Story of Aurealis Pharma and Cerebricon (acquired by Charles River Laboratories), Juha Yrjänheikki
- 18:30 Nokia 5G – New era of connectivity and partnerships, Lauri Oksanen, Nokia
- 18:45 UK market opportunities for Finnish startups, Madhukar Bose, Deputy Head at Healthcare UK / British Embassy Helsinki
- 19:00 Introduction of North Savo Startup Fund, Heidi Ahonen interviewed by Tomi Kaukinen
- 19:15 Interview of Kiho team by Tomi Kaukinen
- 19:30 Networking and snacks, Demo area showcasing startups from Kuopio region
- 21:00 End of the event, the evening continues in a nearby Bruuveri pub (Kampin keskus, Fredrikinkatu 63 AB)

Demo area for startups
Kuopio Goes Slush offers startups the opportunity to showcase their offering in a demo area during the networking time. The demo area has room for eight startups, including about 60 cm of desk space for each startup where you can showcase your products and services. If you are interested in a demo table, sign up by sending email to eeva.lehtomaki(at)kuopio.fi. Demo spaces will be filled in the order of enrollment. Demo spaces are primarily aimed at startups operating in Eastern Finland.
